  • With the ROTOR 3D+, ROTOR has developed a pioneering road bike crankset system that can be freely configured and installed without special tools or expertise. Thanks to the direct mount system, replacing chainrings is a matter of minutes when using the one-piece design combi chainring or single chainrings with a direct mount spider - all you need is an Allen key. Whether with round chainrings or the oval Q-Rings from Rotor, everything is possible and available in many variants. The Direct Mount System of the Aldhu 3D+ enables the fine adjustment of oval chainrings in 1-degree increments for the first time, allowing unrivalled customisation to meet personal requirements.
  • When configuring the Aldhu 3D+, several chainring combinations milled from a single block (one-piece design) are available, pushing the system weight below the magical 600 gram mark. Alternatively, the crank can also be configured with a lightweight direct mount spider and two single chainrings.
  • The name of the new crank model is derived directly from ROTOR's racing history. It is the abbreviation of Alpe d'Huez to commemorate ROTOR's first legendary victory with Carlos Sastre at the Tour de France.
  • The crankarms of the Rotor 3D30 are made of particularly high-quality, cold-forged and CNC-machined 7055 aluminium, which has been drilled 3 times hollow using ‘Trinity Drilling’ for further weight reduction.
  • A key factor in the development of the axle system was particularly high compatibility with all common bottom bracket systems. For this reason, Rotor has equipped this crank with an ultra-stiff 30mm UBB aluminium axle, which further increases bottom bracket compatibility compared to previous versions.
  • This crank is manufactured with an improved version of the unique ‘Trinity Drilling System’ technology. Due to the larger contact surface of axle and crank, all three drill holes can be CNC hollow milled from the axle side of the crank arm. The result is an optimisation of the wall thickness, while at the same time achieving a lower weight and a better load strength of the crank arm.
